Background and Experience

Loon Lake Design is a sole proprietor business staffed by a professional with many years of experience in medical and science writing, journal and grant editing, medical research, graphic/web design, teaching, biology, health care, and computer science. This varied background allows Loon Lake Design to handle diverse projects and to quickly adapt as business standards change and technology evolves. Our membership in several professional networks allows us to partner with colleagues in graphic design, websites, photography, indexing or other fields, as needed to meet project requirements.

The real "Loon Lake", for which Loon Lake Design is named, is an ancestral home in Nova Scotia, Canada where our family owned a farmhouse and property for 6 generations. The Loon has no direct connection to this business, but we liked this special place and the name, and it seems that many other people like Loons too!
